Amazon jumps into the tablet market with its Kindle Fire, a device sporting a touchscreen and lots of opportunity to get video. While nice-looking enough, the low memory (8 GB) and relative lack of access to apps reminds users that this is Amazon's first attempt at producing a tablet. Nonetheless, the instant popularity of the tablet has led to an abundance of Kindle Fire cases built by cases manufacturers. Incidentally, the device is identical in size (4.7x0.45x7.5 WDH) to the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and will fit all of the Samsung Galaxy Tab cases (and general 7" tablet cases).
